Since 1991 the WEQUA GmbH is a qualified and professional partner of the German Federal Employment Agency, the regional Job Centres, the Ministry of Labour and Social, Women and Family Affairs of the Federal State of Brandenburg, the Regional Development Agency of the Federal State of Brandenburg, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Cottbus as well as the Chamber of Crafts and Trades Cottbus, the district councils Oberspreewald-Lausitz and Elbe-Elster and the municipalities of the districts in the South of Brandenburg.

An essential part of the activities of the WEQUA GmbH is the provision of services in training, job placement and human resources development in close cooperation and according to the needs of the enterprises in the region. This allows the creation of innovation and synergies to the benefit of companies and their employees as well as to the unemployed and socially disadvantaged.

The WEQUA GmbH offers the following profile of competencies:

• Project development and project management of regional, federal and European funded programmes
• Elaboration, implementation and evaluation of training and further training modules and human resources development concepts according to the needs of SME
• Support of first vocational training, employment and job placement in the region
• Support of Start-Ups in the region
• Consulting for SME, especially to secure the continued existence and further development of SME
• Initiation and implementation of transitional and outplacement companies
• First vocational training and vocational training for socially disadvantaged youth
• international exchange of youth, organisation of placements for young trainees and employees in Europe
• certified further education (e.g. service technician for wind turbines with an European certificate)
• Training concepts for key competencies and soft skills
• transnational partnerships and cooperation with partners in Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, Netherlands and other
• Management training courses for clients from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus
• Support of and working with migrants and refugees

The WEQUA GmbH has an outstanding know-how in project management and of the local conditions and economic perspectives in the region. It has a professional management in terms of administration, budgeting and controlling of public funds (regional, national and European) and project management at its disposal. Its staff is composed of experienced experts with a background in Economy, Education Sciences, Social Pedagogic, Psychology, Regional science, professional and vocational training etc. In case it cooperates with external experts and consultants with a vast experience in the development and implementation of national, European and transnational projects.

WEQUA GmbH has been approved as an independent youth welfare service organisation by the district council Oberspreewald-Lausitz. It is certified according to DIN EN 9001:2008.
